Blues Acquire Futures

Winnipeg Blues GM/Head Coach Don Macgillvray announced today the Blues have acquired high scoring 20 year old forward Derek Gingera from the Selkirk Steelers as part of the future considerations deal that sent Adam Stoykewych to the Steelers back on the January 10th deadline.   Gingera had 33 goals and 27 assists in 61 games during the regular season, and notched another 7 goals and 9 assists in 16 playoff games.

As well, the Blues have also acquired 20 year old Defenseman Blair Osiowy from Winkler as part of the futures deal that sent Justin Minoletti to the Flyers.  Osiowy notched 4 goals and 19 assists suiting up in all 62 games last season for the Flyers.  

The Blues also acquired 18 year old forward Jared Morris from the Dauphin Kings, as part of the futures deal that sent Evan Gravenor to Dauphin back on January 6th.   The 18 year old from La Salle had 9 goals and 7 assists in 59 games in his first full MJHL season.
