Blues Make Some Moves

The Winnipeg Blues have been off since last Friday night, but the coaching staff have been busy making some moves.

Blues head coach and GM Don Macgillivray announced that Winnipeg has traded Forward Ben Morgan and futures to the Notre Dame Hounds (SJHL) in exchange for 20 year old forward Austin Lauder.

In 25 games this season with the Hounds, Lauder has 4 goals, 10 assists and 17 PIM's.

The Blues also sent 18 year old forward Dustin Bruyere and the rights 1994 defenseman Nick Bruyere to OCN.  In return the Blues acquired 1994 forward Brett Stovin.

Winnipeg also sent futures to the Blizzard for the MJHL list rights of 1992 Forward Ryan Elliot and futures to Powell River for the CHA rights to Elliot.

The Blues would like to thank Ben and Dustin for all their contributions to the team.

The Blues would also like to welcome Austin, Brett and Ryan to the organization.
