Blues Woes Continue

There's that old saying when it rains it pours, and right now the Winnipeg Blues are in the middle of a heavy deluge.

In their third of 10 straight games on the road, the Blues travelled up the Yellowhead to Neepawa to face the Natives.

And thanks to a five goal second period outburst, Neepawa skated away with a 5-1 win handing Winnipeg their 5th straight loss,

After a scoreless first period, Neepawa came out firing, and outshot the Blues 25-9 in the middle frame with five of those shots finding their way behind Charlie Pogue.

Winnipeg would score early in the third period with Connor Cleverley scoring his 6th of the year, but that's as close as the Blues would come, as their record now falls to 9-20-3-5 on the season.

Winnipeg has one more game before they stop for the Christmas break.  On Sunday night the Blues travel to Winkler to face the 19-14-2-2 Flyers.
