The Winkler Flyers continued their dominance of the Winnipeg Blues this season, downing them 4-2 on Tuesday night, and 6-0-0-0 against the Blues so far this season.
Winkler opened the scoring in the first, as well as the second, but the Blues showed some resiliance and came back to tie the game on goals by David Lafleche and the reigning MJHL Player of the Week Jake Heisinger.
But in the third the Flyers would put the game away, outshooting Winnipeg 13-4, and adding a pair of goals by Seth Ronsberg and Chapen Lablond and take the game 4-2.
Winnipeg now falls 1-6-0-0 on their current 10 game road swing, and 10-23-3-5 on the year. Next action for the Blues is this Friday night when they head north to face OCN.
